R2-D2 PC Case Mod Warps Us Into Hyperspace [Star Wars]

Our obsession with everyone’s (except Porkins’) favorite astromech is well known, but this R2-D2 case is probably the best designed PC ever on its own. In fact, it looks like the only thing that could replace a steampunked Mac mini on my watch. More pics after the jump.

Up close and personal it has a certain cake quality, but its handmade gives it a certain je ne se quoi fuzzy warm quality that we like. Granted, we would prefer a fully-polished R2-D2 made of steel and aluminum with a real hologram projector, but nobody is perfect. [The Contaminated]
